The “VEX Robotics Thailand National Championships 2025–2026” officially kicked off from January 15–18, 2026,
to determine Thailand’s top youth robotics teams who will advance to the world’s largest robotics competition,
the “VEX Robotics World Championship 2026” The global tournament has been recognized by “Guinness World Records”
as the greatest robotics competition in the world.

On January 15, 2026, at Central Chaengwattana Hall, Central Chaengwattana Shopping Center, the official opening ceremony of
the “VEX Robotics Competition Thailand National Championships 2025–2026” was held to promote Thai youth onto the global stage. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Suvit Maesincee, Former Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and attended by Dr. Teerasak Chotikawanid, D.ENG.; Assistant General Manager of ALL Robotics, Mr. Phornvit Phacharintanakul, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM); Quang Hung Vu, Regional
Support Manager of Robotics Education & Competition Foundation VEX Robotics; and Miss Jaturaporn Thanapornsungsuth, VP - Head of Marketing (Thailand & Indochina) at Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

Dr. Suvit Maesincee, Former Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation stated that the VEX Robotics Competition Thailand National Championship 2025–2026 serves as a significant platform to enhance Thai youths’ potential in robotics and technology. Beyond selecting representatives for the global stage, the competition cultivates engineering thinking, systematic problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Emphasized that regardless of technological advancement, the future direction of the world ultimately depends on youth equipped with knowledge, integrity, and social responsibility. This platform represents an important starting point for developing future human capital.

ALL Robotics Institute under Panyatara Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CP All Group, has joined forces with Panyapiwat Institute of Management, VEX Robotics, Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and leading partners to organize this large-scale robotics engineering competition. More than 800 students from 126 teams are participating, with distinguished judges from leading national and international institutions selecting Thailand’s representatives to compete at the VEX Robotics World Championships 2026 in St. Louis, United States, in April 2026.

The objective of this competition is to integrate the five core STEAM disciplines Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through challenging, engaging, and inspiring activities to cultivate the next generation of innovators. A special highlight this year was the organization of regional qualifying rounds to ensure nationwide participation, including the Southern Region at Prince of Songkla University, Surat Thani Campus (August 16–18, 2025) the Northern Region at Montfort College, Chiang Mai (October 16–17, 2025) the Northeastern Region at The Mall Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima (November 8–9, 2025); and the Central Region at Panyapiwat Institute of Management (November 15–16, 2025). Across all four regions, more than 200 schools participated, with 3,605 students and 3,040 attendees, totaling 6,645 participants.

The Thailand National Championship round of the VEX Robotics Competition Thailand National Championships 2025–2026 is being held at Central Chaengwattana Hall, Central Chaengwattana Shopping Center, from January 15–18, 2026, featuring 126 competing teams and a total of 1,860 attendees.

The competition is divided into two main categories: VEX V5 Robotics Competition Push Back, including Middle School (VRC) for students under 15 years old and High School (VRC HS) for students under 19 years old, totaling 41 teams competing across 12 fields from January 15–16, 2026 and VEX IQ Robotics Competition Mix & Match, including Elementary School (VIQC ES) for students under 12 years old and Middle School (VIQC MS) for students under 15 years old, totaling 85 teams competing across 22 fields from January 17–18, 2026.
